Settin' her up

Julie casually mentioned how I should start a blog where all our family contributes to it...but I told her to get her own (this is Krista by the way).  So, here she is, all set up.  Now, she's making me write the first post...so, here are the beautiful holmesies.  Hope you likey.

We have been having a heavenly time together for Thanksgiving this year.  The Holmes and Hansen families made it safely from Utah on the treacherous highway on Wednesday.  This year we had the whole Haddock clan in town.  Thursday we stuffed our faces with all sorts of deliciousness including, but not limited to, pie...at least 15 of them.  Not a joke.  Then we had a cousin party of America out in Middleton.  It was a good time had by all - jump rope, basketball, food, games, more food, movies for the kidlets, and chatting.  Today is Friday and we (as in Julie and James) got up at the crack of dawn to do a little shopping, decorated gingerbread houses for the elderly (got our service in for the year), decorated mom's house for Christmas while she was at the Festival of Trees, and now are going to eat some pizza.  Ahhhhhh.
